Tissue Paper - Too Thin To Strong?
Matrix has 4 kinds of GSM tissue paper, such as 14 gsm, 17 gsm, 22 gsm, and 28 gsm, which are made of long-fiber wood pulp. And the wood pulp is from softwood trees (pine, spruce, fir, etc.), the length of fiber is usually within 2 – 4 mm, so the paper has better strength, toughness, and tear resistance. We also do the sample test for the folding by hand.
In addition, we suggest 17 gsm for your common packaging and 22 gsm for brand packaging.
Controlled Dimension Errors for Tissue Paper
Did you encounter the dimension errors or uneven cutting for tissue paper? Matrix will do some solutions on the production process:
- Automatic sheet cutter: the accuracy can be controlled within ±1–2 mm.
- Double-blade cutting: the blades are stable to reduce the fluctuation of sizes.
- Check the blades every week and replace them every one to two months.
- Keep the paper tension by the automatic tension control system.
Pls note that temperature and humidity are still important, which can cause the paper to curl.
